Using Your Emotions As A Guide

 




 


 
In order to receive from the universe what it is we have been asking for, we need to be in alignment with the source that is within us all. This is our inner being and our inner being loves everyone and everything. If we are doing something with anything less than love then we are not keeping up with who we really are. We are all beginning to learn this, some are being taught it and some are awakening to the idea.

And that if they will relax and reach for thoughts that feel good, and do their best to appreciate, then they will be less likely to keep the Well-being away, and more likely to allow it to flow into their experience" -Abraham Hicks

This means that in the moments when we feel complete exhilaration, it is when we are most connected to our source and allowing our well being to flow quickly through us. In times when you are struggling and feeling hopeless, guilty or upset, we are subconsciously disconnecting from ourselves. Our well-being always naturally flows and it flows joyously throughout, which is why it feels so awful when we are closed off from it. 
  
Depending on your emotion, you can steer yourself back into alignment.  Here is an example of the emotional scale written by Abraham Hicks in "Ask and it is Given": 
  
1. Joy/ Appreciation/ Empowerment/ Freedom/ Love 
2. Passion 
3. Enthusiasm/ Eagerness/ Happiness 
4. Positive Expectation/Belief 
5. Optimism 
6. Hopefulness 
7. Contentment 
8. Boredom 
9. Pessimism 
10. Frustration/ Irritation/ Impatience 
11. Overwhelmed 
12. Disappointment 
12. Doubt

The further down the emotional scale we are, the worse it can feel but only because the real us is at the top of the scale. We cannot take huge leaps from say, jealousy to hopefulness. We cannot leap from depression to passion but we can make our way up in our own time. When you get angry about a situation that has recently had you feeling extremely guilty, you may not realise you are making your way back up the scale because the anger you feel is better than the depression you felt before. Your source is always encouraging you to make your way up to alignment.

It may take a few weeks to go from one to the other but that is okay. The more often we use it, the less time we will take to guide ourselves in the right direction as long as we are always aware of your emotions. If we are struggling and feeling a little down we can use this guide and pick an emotion that feels best to us. If we want we can enjoy watching yourselves rise or we can take a more direct route. If we are feeling rage then perhaps we should look for the next level up and either try to focus on that emotion until it feels best to go up another notch. 
  
It is important to remind ourselves that well-being is always flowing through us and to us- It can never be shut off. It can never be taken. If we cannot feel our energy flowing it is simply because we have pinched ourselves off from it. Let's remember to pay attention to how we feel. It is my promise to you that once you allow yourself to feel good, your life around you will feel good.
