What Are Soul Groups and Why Do We Need Them?

If you have ever come across someone and felt a deep sense of already knowing them then chances are you have experienced meeting someone that you once knew in a past life or someone from your soul group. As groups, we tend to stick together and incarnate within these groups through each lifetime. Sometimes we incarnate within the physical family but other times we just find our paths crossing over during certain time periods.

What about our physical families?

People's connection to their families vary from person to person and whilst some feel a deep connection with their loved ones, others tell a different story. Some individuals feel no connection to their immediate family and eventually find different meaningful connections with the people they meet throughout their lives. These people are part of their soul group and as we go along our physical journey we can create the connection with those part of our soul groups and create a soul family.

What about our enemies?

Although we can enjoy meeting someone from our soul group we can also feel pain when we meet them. Part of the physical experience is learning and learning through contrast. This means experiencing pain and unhappiness to learn a particular lesson. Sometimes, in order to do this, we have to come across another soul who makes us unhappy or feel this pain. This person is also part of your soul group. Before we are born we create contracts with other souls that state they must act a certain way towards us, even if it is negative, in order for us to grow as souls. This may be a tough pill to swallow for some but usually, those who hurt us most are actually the ones who love us most.

The ones you meet for an instant

We are always being guided to meet other members of our soul group and we are also being guided along out path. These members can certainly help us along with this and sometimes it can only be for a split second. I remember being in a bookstore having a browse when a lady came up to me and said to me, 'you should read this'. and then walked away. I never saw her again yet I felt a connection to her like she was an old best friend guiding me and I was in the right place at the right time. The book was, 'Ask and it's Given' by Esther and Jerry Hicks which set me on a life changing the path.

We are all connected and although it may not always feel like it, we are all helping each other out. This can be hard to see when we feel pain or discomfort but those souls are helping us the most. It is not easy to agree to hurt someone or cause them pain but our souls see the deeper meaning for all of this, our minds do not. It is a comfort to know we are always with the same souls and we are all growing together and helping each other and what an amazing experience when we meet someone new from our group. The feeling of connection is uncanny and so powerful it makes us want to explore more. It makes us eager to see what they can teach us. We learn something from everyone we meet.

Inspired by the yoga practice known as Nada Yoga, or “the union through sound”, which is based on the belief that all that exists in the universe are made of sound vibrations known as “nada”. This ancient indian metaphysical and spiritual art form involves the inner transformation of the person through sound and tone, which is a universal path towards self-discovery and self-realization, and self-acceptance. It promotes mental focus and breath control. In our meditation music track, also known as “In Tune with the Self”, are brainwave entrainments that range from 8Hz to 0.5Hz, which are associated with high states of consciousness, spiritual insight, deep relaxation, increased memory, focus and creativity and total knowing.
