But they can also be attributed to death, which is why witches and warlocks had cats as familiars, and in Transylvania, Romania, and Hungary, a cat is supposed to be able to reanimate a corpse into a vampire!
From ancient times to modern times, cats have been considered special, and they will continue to be treated as such.
